That's actually a really good question as a matter of fact so if you are the maker of the product but you simply have a co-packer or someone producing your private label product you would in essence be the manufacturer of the product itself not a distributor I just didn't know it would technically be the person that would be buying someone else's product either in bulk or just purchasing products from
other retail store Wholesale Club and then reselling it then at that point you would just be a distributor of a product. But if you're having a company make it and is your company's product and your brand you should choose the manufacturer at that point though they may ask you to also show invoices ingredients listings of all of that kind of product paperwork in order to prove that the product is yours just to ensure that it's not the product resold from someone else's brand.
