The National Restaurant Association (NRA) is a trade organization that represents the restaurant industry in the United States. Founded in 1919, the NRA has grown to become one of the most influential groups in the foodservice industry. A group of restaurant operators in New York City recognized the need for a national organization to represent their interests.
