My name is Damian Roberti, and I’ve been in the food industry for over 30 years. But my entrepreneurial journey truly began over 14 years ago when I decided to take the leap and start my own food business. Before that, I had run a successful Italian bakery and deli in Atlanta, a dream job that I loved. But after years in the business, I realized that I wanted more. I wanted to combine my passion for food with the opportunities that technology and e-commerce were offering. So, I took the plunge into the world of online sales.

I transitioned from a traditional brick-and-mortar business to the world of e-commerce, starting by selling our homemade baked goods and other food items on eBay. I did that for two years, then made the move to Etsy, where I could reach a different audience of food lovers. Four years later, I found myself launching a store on Amazon, which was where everything truly took off.
As I built my presence on Amazon, I also created my website to expand my e-commerce footprint even further. Fast forward 11 years, and I now manage four e-commerce businesses focused entirely on selling food online. There are no retail stores, no employees other than my amazing wife and me—we’ve been doing this together for the past 14 years. And in that time, we’ve grown our Amazon sales to $1.2 million annually, and my other platforms bring in six figures a year.
Managing over 300 food items across all of these platforms, from chocolate pretzels to cookies to baked goods and more, has been both rewarding and challenging. I personally created the product listings, took the photos, wrote the descriptions, and optimized every part of my business to make sure it stands out on Amazon. After all, this is a competitive market, and I had to learn all the strategies and techniques to make my products shine.

In addition to running my businesses, I’ve had the privilege of reaching over 14 million views on my YouTube channels, with audiences in over 50 countries. My YouTube channels have been a platform for me to help other food entrepreneurs, and I’ve consulted with over 800 small food startups through the knowledge I’ve shared in my videos.
