Arizona Cottage Food Labeling Requirements

 Only farmers in Kentucky were allowed to sell their own home-cooked food for many years, making that state one of the few remaining ones that did not have a fundamental cottage food law. But in 2018, the law was altered (HB 263, specifically) to make it available to everyone, therefore that no longer held true.

Home-based processors now have the ability, according to this regulation, to produce a wide variety of non-perishable items and sell them directly to customers located within the state. Maple syrup and sweet sorghum syrup are the only two varieties of syrup that are permitted to be used. When it comes to confectionery, bare hands are strictly prohibited. Honey and eggs in their entirety are protected from this rule under a different provision entirely. Honey sales are limited to a maximum of 150 gallons per year, while egg sales are limited to a maximum of 60 dozen each week.
