So, following this pandemic condition, which we are all experiencing, you will see a massive increase. A lot more food will be purchased online, as it has already begun in February and March of this year. And a large number of websites and online companies are already taking use of this. was, of course, the most important. and are both experimenting with third-party seller platform concepts, allowing others to sell on their sites. As a result, they will be tremendously profitable due to the low initial expenditure required to get them up and running. And the majority of them are ones that I've discovered over the course of my 12 years of selling food online. Over a decade ago, my wife and I established our own food business.

We've been on Amazon for six years now. Getting on eBay and Etsy is a lot simpler procedure at initially, and selling on those platforms will provide you with a terrific opportunity to practice being online and in the e-commerce world: dealing with customers, orders, taking phone calls, receiving emails, and so on.

That goes hand in hand with it. Is it necessary to perform some study before jumping into Amazon? You're going to build your own website and sell on it? At first, a lot of people went in that route, but it's not a good idea. We were selling on such networks before we created our own website, in my experience. Why would you do anything like that? Well, having a website is fantastic. Don't get me wrong: I think it's great. If I told you now that I needed you, you would believe me. I would advise you to go ahead and build your own website. Definitely go ahead and do it. Getting visitors to your website, on the other hand, is a major task. As a result of your presence on Etsy and eBay, you already have a consumer base. You already have consumers that are seeking for certain food items. You are not required to run advertising on Facebook. Because there are two separate things, you don't need to establish an ad campaign or pay to advertise to encourage people to visit your website.

There are people who visit your website and buy anything, and then there are those who visit your website and do not buy anything. Conversion is two distinct things, and persuading people to buy a product is difficult, so selling food online on eBay and Etsy is a terrific first step. They've only cost a few hundred dollars to get up and running. You could practically have a business in a matter of days, with listings, items, and all types of products ready to sell in front of millions of people. Why don't you head straight to Amazon now? Well, there's a learning curve and an application procedure to get into the food and gourmet cuisine area for us. We had to go through the process of being ungated. That is a procedure that will necessitate invoices, documents, incorporation papers, and a variety of other items.

What would that imply? Once you've done that, it's fantastic since it has the potential to skyrocket your business. Okay, there are a lot of successful sellers out there. So, if I wanted to sell a bag of chips, I could create a website that would perform all of the work for me. I'd develop a website and put those chips on it, charge you a fee, and then earn a tiny profit or margin on it. Then I'd have it shipped to you by that firm. Is there a company that does food drop shipping? Yes, they do exist. I'll also provide a few more links in the explanation below. You can look at the websites that provide that service. Some of them even go so far as to provide you with a pre-built website that includes all of the items.

And you're actually running an eCommerce store that they built for you. Those are excellent places to begin. What are the advantages of drop shipping if you're considering it? You don't need any inventory, after all. You don't have to buy anything and then store it in a warehouse, hoping that someone would find it online and buy it from you. So these are things that might be filled there, actual products that could be transported there and completed on your behalf by another firm. As a result, drop shipping food is yet another exceptionally easy way to sell food online. If you don't want to have an influence on inventory, or if you don't create your own goods, when I say easy, I mean it would be easier for me to do it after 12 years of doing it.

Well, the waste labor, waste materials, and everything else that goes into it, now that it's created to order, kind of bypasses the fact that you could, say, sell chocolate chip cookies on eBay. If you were in the business of creating chocolate chip cookies or any other type of food, you'd probably ignore that request. You'd create the item, print the shipping label, and mail it to the purchaser. And that's all there is to it. You wash your hands of it, and I believe the amount of trash you have is due to the fact that you don't have a retail storefront to fill the various display cases with. So that's a significant bonus because you're not spending a lot of money on components if you utilize a product and then hope it sells by the end of the day. It's only made to order, thus it's food created to order.

Because the margins are so great, businesses may be tremendously profitable. Obviously, you need it as long as you're receiving enough attention to your listings and orders, but you're not wasting ingredients by having to premium anything. The next step is bulk food resale. If you've ever visited one of these "big box" stores, such as Costco and Sam's Club, or the BJ's of the globe, you'll notice that there are things made in bulk in vast amounts. Yes, there are some really successful web firms that offer bulk food supplies and other food-related items. So, Damien, how does it work? Well, this one would most likely need the greatest investment, if any, compared to the others, because you'd need a compact, all-purpose warehouse that was clearly licensed and inspected by either the health department or the department of agriculture.

And this would be the sort of warehouse where you could buy big quantities of food in bulk and mark it up for a profit. You would then make a little profit and mail the product to the purchaser in this manner. So it includes stockpiling stuff, which may be costly if you start out on a large scale. Is it possible for you to start this business on a modest scale? Yes, you certainly can. Like a major business, you don't need to keep inventory or have hundreds of things. You may start with a few dozen or a few hundred goods and expand from there. Aside from Amazon and Etsy, there are a number of vendors on eBay that resale bulk food supplies or sell bundle packages. Let's pretend you're making spaghetti sauce. They fly five, ten, or ten bottles of spaghetti sauce and sell a significant number of it.

So, Damien, why can't folks just go to their local grocery and pick it up if they're interested in that particular style of sauce? That is a significant advantage of having both food goods available for purchase online in any town. And he doesn't have access to all of the same items that you do. Many individuals live in sparsely populated locations, and they may not have access to those stores. They won't be able to sell such foods if they don't have those stores. So, believe it or not, the food available where I live is likely to be very different from the food available where you live. Many individuals are unaware of this and do not consider it. As a result, it provides a fantastic possibility for you to profit from things that aren't available anywhere.

As a result, because they can't obtain it locally, individuals will pay a premium or much more than they would otherwise spend. And this is true of many health food products, such as those that are low in sugar, low in carbs, gluten-free, and so on. And so forth. People need things for their nutrition, but they're not always available where they live, so they are some extremely high margin, high profit items. If you've considered starting an internet company, you may make a lot of money and get started quickly by simply flipping and reselling in bulk things that you don't have to create but can keep. Is this something you should do right now? There is a danger. There is a danger. And, of course, there is a process for everything. The disadvantage is that if you promote a product on eBay and your local store or the place where you get it doesn't have it, it won't be available. If that's the case, you're out of the product. That's not a good thing because it means the order will be delayed. However, if you know the store is well-stocked, you can usually provide food goods without even maintaining an inventory and simply selling them as orders come in. Is that a whole set? That's all I have to say about the subject. And there are a few incredibly successful company ideas that you may start for very little money and that don't require a large financial investment. But, yeah, you must put in the effort, and I would strongly advise you to take little steps toward getting on sites like Amazon or some of the larger sites like Walmart, as well as eBay and Etsy, or even your own website or a mix of the three.

Keep in mind, however, that you will need specific licences or licenses in order to do so. So, depending on where you are and how you want to make this product or sell these things, the sort of permission and license you will require will vary. as well as, of course, through commercial insurance.
